A Night of Celebration: A Levels Graduation Evening

On the 4 January the Year 13 students from 2022-2023 were invited back to school for the KS5 Presentation Evening.

It was wonderful to welcome back so many students and to hear about their progress since they left school in June. The evening started with a quiz reflecting on the key events both in the world and in school in 2023.

The main part of the evening involved the presentation of subject awards. The recipients of these awards had been chosen by staff for amazing effort and achievement in their subject area (the winners of these awards can be seen below).

It was wonderful to see the students so pleased to be recognised for their achievements and in some cases, it even brought tears to their eyes.

The celebrations concluded with the prize being awarded for the winning quiz team, this year it was won by Miss King, Mrs Asplin and Miss Casserly who were thrilled.

This evening always fills me with immense pride to see the students return as young adults and I wish them all the best for the future.
