GCSE Choices

Making options choices at Key Stage 4, can be both an exciting and daunting time for students. It can be difficult deciding which subjects to choose over others, whilst keeping your options open.

Students - for the first time in your school life you are going to make decisions that will affect your next two years in school; influence your higher and further education choices; and perhaps influence your employment opportunities.

Parents - I know that schools work better when we know we have your full support and work with your children for the best possible outcomes. Students work better when they know that their parents support their school and vice versa.

This year there are two academic pathways for Year 10 students beginning courses in September 2026. They are designed to offer appropriate academic routes for different groups of students. Each Year 9 student has been allocated a pathway to maximise their academic success and unlock their potential.

Choosing your options

To collect all option choices for students in Year 9, we will use the website linked below. Login details will be provided on the day of KS4 Options Evening.
