Key Academic Dates

The following key dates for this academic year 2024-2025 are:

Parent Evening Events

These are currently planned to run online using the virtual system that we have successfully used in recent years.  The events usually have appointments available from 15:30 - 18:45 unless otherwise advised.  Booking details will be shared approximately 1 week before each event and please note if you child is in Years 8-11 or 13 the process may be different to that which you have experienced previously.

Year 7 - Thursday 12 June 2025 and also a Meet the Tutor/Welcome evening on Thursday 19 September 2024

Year 8 - Thursday 1 May 2025

Year 9 - Thursday 5 December 2024

Year 10 - Thursday 16 January 2025

Year 11 - Thursday 13 February 2025

Year 12 - Thursday 13 March 2025

Year 13 - Thursday 21 November 2024 and an additional event on Thursday 23 January 2025 for selected students

Progress Reviews

You will be sent a numerical update on Attitude to Learning and Academic Progress during three windows in the year:

Progress Cycle 1 (Progress during Terms 1 and 2) - December 2024

Progress Cycle 2 (Progress during Terms 3 and 4) - April 2025

Progress Cycle 3 (Progress during Terms 5 and 6) - July 2025 (for Years 7-10 and 12 students only)

Profile Reports

We also provide a more detailed update including written targets for each subject and a detailed update from Form Tutors.  These are scheduled as follows:

Year 7 - April 2025

Year 8 - January 2025

Year 9 - May 2025

Year 10 - March 2025

Year 11 - December 2024

Year 12 - June 2025

Year 13 - November 2024

If you have any questions about the progress of your child/children, please in the first instance contact their Form Tutor and Head of Year, or if it is a subject-specific issue then the relevant Subject Leader. 

It is our firm intention to adhere to these planned dates, but if a change becomes necessary notice will be given.
