DofE Bronze Practice Expedition

Over the weekend of the 4 and 5 May, our Bronze DofE students took part in their practice expedition. The students and their group leaders spent two days developing navigation skills, learning camp craft, and most importantly, improving their team work.

The expedition began in Cuxton, and the groups made their way through the countryside to set up camp in Meopham. On the second day, after a very chilly night’s camping, they set off for Trosley Country Park, again navigating their way through the local area.

It was an excellent opportunity to help the students prepare for their qualifying expedition which will take place in July, and they all had a great weekend.
