Harmonious Support: School Choir at Carolathon for Demelza

In late November, 26 of our Key Stage 3 singing students took a stroll to Fremlin Walk in Maidstone town centre to lend their voices to the annual Demelza Carolathon. Performing a delightful array of Christmas songs, our students not only entertained the public but also contributed to raising funds for the admirable cause supported by Demelza — a charity dedicated to assisting very ill children and their families in the South East. We were thrilled to have some of our own families join us in this endeavour.

Despite the chilly weather, the event exuded a lovely festive atmosphere, and our students delivered beautiful performances that left a lasting impression. This experience was not only a meaningful contribution to a noble cause but also served as excellent preparation for our upcoming Carol Service.
