Stocky success in KCSP Art competition
We are delighted to share the news that in a competition that was open to all Catholic schools in Kent, Stocky secured pretty much a clean sweep!
The theme of this year’s competition was ‘Inspiration’ with individual awards given for the best work from students in Years 7-10.
Congratulations to Emily in Year 7, Pola in Year 9 and Kamile in Year 10 for their fabulous winning entries.
They are outstanding observational drawings. “All artists are willing to suffer for their work. But why are so few prepared to learn to draw?” — Banksy
The school that submitted the highest quality entries also receives £200 to purchase art resources - so further success for the department!
All the winning entries, together with those that have been highly commended, will be displayed in a KCSP Virtual Gallery, which can be viewed on the Trust website this summer.
Pictured below are the Stocky winners.
