Turing Project: Students Thrive Abroad!
Our students had the most amazing experience of working abroad as part of the Turing project fully funded by the DfE. This initiative provided our students with a unique opportunity to work abroad, expanding their horizons and enriching their educational experiences.
Two groups of students embarked on this remarkable journey, with one group heading to the charming city of Bordeaux in the south of France, while the other group ventured to the vibrant city of Seville, Spain. During their time abroad, our students were placed in various companies as part of their work experience, allowing them to gain valuable insights into different industries and cultures.
Immersing themselves in the local culture and language, our students embraced the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones and navigate unfamiliar environments. They demonstrated remarkable independence and adaptability, overcoming language barriers to communicate effectively and form meaningful connections with their colleagues and peers.
This experience not only enhanced their professional skills but also fostered personal growth, as they learned to navigate new challenges and embrace diverse perspectives. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and commend them for their dedication and resilience throughout this transformative experience.
The success of the Turing project showcases the immense value of international experiences in shaping well-rounded individuals and preparing them for success in an increasingly globalised world. We look forward to sharing the stories of our third group of students who are currently visiting Belgium.
