Congratulations to all our Sixth Form students.

Students and staff at St Simon Stock Catholic School are again celebrating a pleasing set of A level and Level 3 Diploma results, with students going on to top universities and other highly sought-after destinations, including highly competitive degree level apprenticeships.

In the large and inclusive Sixth Form of this excellent school, nearly 100 students took A Levels and Level 3 Diploma’s this year. The pass rate was excellent with well over 98% of all examinations passed.

Headteacher Mrs Denny said ‘’It has been a wonderful opportunity today for students to celebrate their achievements alongside their teachers and family members. Our students have worked extraordinarily hard and demonstrated great resilience and determination throughout their time in education. The unwavering support from our staff and their parents and carers, combined with their hard work has resulted in a pleasing set of results that will enable them to progress on to the next stage of their lives.  I would like to offer students warmest congratulations and, on their behalf, thank all their teachers for their contribution to making these results possible. We know they will go on to achieve great things, follow their dreams and make a significant contribution to the world around them”.

In addition to some individual successes detailed below, we are pleased to celebrate notable achievements across a range of subject departments and qualifications. These include Sports Studies, Applied Science, Chemistry, Further Maths, History, IT, Criminology and many more.

Mrs Denny continued: “We are also full of admiration for a number of students who have joined the school late for a variety of different reasons and for students who have overcome barriers to learning and have performed exceptionally well. There is a story behind each and every set of student results and we are proud of each and every one of our Year 13 St Simon Stock Catholic School students.’’

Our success stories include seven outstanding students—Aleksandra, Aodhan, Cheryl, David, Eli, Lillie, and Polly—who achieved two or more A* or A grades and have been accepted into prestigious universities such as Cambridge, Bradford, Surrey, King's College London, Westminster, and Southampton.
