Monday 11 November 2024 British Army Careers Workshop On Monday, 11 November, we were honoured to welcome representatives from the British Army as part of our Careers and Futures Programme. The visit began with an informative talk where the Army representatives outlined the diverse pathways and career opportunities available within the British Army. Students learned about apprenticeships, roles in the regular and reserve forces, and the wide range of careers across all sectors of the industry, from logistics and engineering to healthcare and technology.

Wednesday 23 October 2024 Careers Fair 2024 On Wednesday 22 October St Simon Stock Catholic School held its highly anticipated annual Careers Fair, welcoming a diverse group of vendors and giving students a valuable opportunity to explore their future career paths. Attendees included representatives from universities, the RAF, Kent Police, FCC Environment, British College of Osteopathic Medicine, Bellway, Gallagher Group, Scania, College of ESports, Whitehead Monckton Law, The Electrical Academy, Natwest Group, UK Electronics Skills Foundation (UKESF) and RDT Limited.

Wednesday 16 October 2024 Kent Police Visit Inspires Year 12 & Year 13 Criminology Students On Wednesday 16 October, our Year 12 and Year 13 Criminology students had the exciting opportunity to welcome two officers from Kent Police - Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Talboys and Sergeant Claire Boichat. As part of our Careers & Futures program, the officers shared their personal experiences within the force and discussed the diverse range of career options available within Kent Police.

Tuesday 24 October 2023 Careers Fair 2023 Wednesday 18 October saw the return of the St Simon Stock annual Careers Fair. This year we had representatives from over 10 different industries who came to educate students about their field of expertise and offer professional advice on pathways post-secondary school.
